thornewolf.dev charter
I've finally solidified on a purpose for my *.dev domain https://www.thornewolf.dev/. It is to provide an experience similar to Simon Willison's til.*
domain.
I found myself looking for a way of publication that is more formal than Twitter, but less formal than publishing on thornewolf.com. I consider posts here to be a practice of intention, with each post including a concrete result or opinion. This doesn't leave room for information dumps like https://www.thornewolf.dev/openssl-for-secret-messaging.
Something I keep in mind as I make this decision in the incremental cost increase in maintenance efforts. Typically, I am fine with my personal projects dissolving, so long as I have documented them; writing, on the other hand, seems sacred. I feel that I need to keep the record for as long as possible.
